Open The Door

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. Rev. 3:20

A rabbi was visited by a number of learned men one day. He was surprised by them asking this question: “Where is the dwelling of God?” When he responded, ” What a thing to ask. Is not the whole world full of His glory?”, the men laughed. The rabbi then responded, “God dwells wherever man lets Him in.”

We look at the abundance of problems of our world and become overwhelmed by the hunger, disease, abuse, crime, etc. Some of us point to heaven and say, “Where is God? Why doesn’t he do something?” And in truth, the Lord is looking at these same situations and crying, “Where are my people? Why don’t they do something?”

When we invite the Lord into our daily lives, we experience His peace and we have a growing understanding of how to live according to His plan. We are transformed by His indwelling Holy Spirit into people who manifest love, care, and morality.

Walking with the Lord every day in this way will cause productivity to flow in your life. He will tell you what problems you are to tackle and how. He will bring people to help you accomplish what He’s asked you to do.  Invite God into every place you go today – the shop, factory, business, or school. Ask Him to be a part of every encounter and relationship. He has promised to “come in” to every door that is opened to Him
